How Much Does a Wedding Videographer Cost in Kelowna? (2026 Guide)

Short answer: in Kelowna and the Okanagan, wedding videography in 2026 typically runs from about $2,000 for a few hours of coverage to $4,000–$6,500+ for full-day cinematic films, and combined photo-and-video packages from one team usually land between $3,500 and $6,500. At Bold Ant Productions our combined photo + video packages are $2,200 (Essentials), $3,800 (Signature) and $5,200 (Cinematic) — still below the regional average for full-day combined coverage.

What actually drives the price

  • Hours of coverage – a 4-hour ceremony-and-portraits package costs far less than getting-ready-to-last-dance coverage.
  • Photo + video or video only – hiring one team for both is almost always cheaper than two separate vendors, and the two crews never get in each other’s way.
  • Film length and edits – a 3–5 minute highlight film is standard; a 7-minute cinematic edit, full ceremony and speech films, or interviews add editing time.
  • Interviews and audio – recording vows, letters and guest messages properly takes extra microphones and time, but it is what makes a film emotional years later.
  • Travel – Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country and Peachland are usually included; Vernon, Penticton and Osoyoos may add a small travel fee.

What our packages include

Our Essentials ($2,200) covers 6 hours of photo + video with 60 edited photos and a 2-minute highlight film. Signature ($3,800) is full-day coverage with 100 edited photos and a 5-minute highlight film. Cinematic ($5,200) adds a second shooter, guest interviews, 150 edited photos, a 7-minute cinematic film and full ceremony and speech edits. Every detail is on our wedding photography & videography page.

How to spend less without regretting it

  • Book a Friday, Sunday or off-season date (October–April) – availability is better and many vendors are flexible.
  • Trim hours, not quality: skip filming the last hour of the dance floor before you skip the ceremony audio.
  • Use one team for photo and video – it saves money and coordination, and the two can plan shots together.
  • Ask for social cuts (30–60 seconds) included instead of ordering them later.

What is not worth cutting

Clean audio of your vows and speeches, and a proper highlight film. Couples almost never say “we wish the video was shorter”; they say “I wish we could hear what he said.”
