From the time I was a child, sports have been a central part of my life. I played soccer, volleyball, hockey, badminton, and kickboxing. I ran for my school in local Olympiads, skied in the winter, and swam in the summer. I gave my all, and in doing so, I experienced both the thrill of victory and the challenges of setbacks. Along the way, I broke my foot twice and my arm once—powerful reminders that the road to success is filled with both triumphs and trials.
These experiences taught me resilience, focus, and the importance of never giving up. They also gave me a deep understanding of what it feels like to be in the heart of the action—something I now bring into my work behind the camera. When I film sports, I anticipate movements, understand momentum, and connect emotionally with the athletes, because I’ve been there myself.
